I never pictured myself in a sparkly ball gown wedding dress. But I had spent months looking at simpler gowns that never gave me that 'yes!' feeling. I was actually at a bridesmaid appointment when they had a bride cancel and asked if I wanted to try on dresses for fun. It was fate. My bridesmaids started pulling everything I said I didn’t want in a dress, just to try it and have fun. I put on this dress and was done! It was gorgeous and actually made me feel like a bride. The details were breathtaking. It had just enough sparkle to catch the light without being over the top. The layering of the lace was subtle and gave a uniqueness that I was obsessed with. I couldn’t stop smiling and dancing around the shop. It was magic!
Unfortunately, my wedding, originally planned for Aug 2020 in Scotland, was canceled three times due to Covid related reasons. My husband and I eloped and it was time for me to let the dress go... Even if it couldn’t be me, this dress NEEDS to be worn!
