This exquisite Reem Acra masterpiece was inspired by a custom dress worn by Olivia Wilde to the 2008 Emmy Awards and is still one of the most searched for wedding styles years after its debut.
It has a beautiful, elegant A-line silhouette with a twisted front knot bodice, beaded capped sleeves, and a built-in subtle train. The fabric is a flowy silk charmeuse with a full silk lining. There is a pleated waistband and light side boning with a hidden back zipper.
I loved how the jeweled capped sleeve and pleated bodice that flowed into the skirt with a hint of a train made it effortlessly stunning and easy to wear. It felt substantial without being overwhelming - and is perfect for any spring, summer, fall wedding!
The dress fits a standard US size 2 dress size. The dress was originally 60" long measured from shoulder (excluding the train) and I had it altered to be shortened by 1" so from shoulder to the bottom of the front now measures to be about 59". I am 5'6" and wore 3-inch heels with the dress.
It has been professionally cleaned and preserved in a garment bag.
